Happy Anniversary To Me !! ( and a giveaway for you ! )

Today, November 6, 2013 is officially my ONE YEAR Anniversary of being a quilter ! In that one year I have finished 35 quilts, along with a slew of other quilted items. I think that is a pretty productive first year ! It was kind of ironic that tonight while checking my facebook I came across a post in one of my groups to to a post over at Quilty Pleassures called 100 Things Every Quilter Should Do Before They Die ! I had to take a gander and see just how well I stood up against this list. I have to admit, I had alot checked off for only having been quilting for a year. You should go check it out and see where you stand ! But the list got me thinking about all of the things that I keep adding to my mental list of things I want to do quilting wise. Quilts I want to make, things I want to do or see, places I want to go. So I decided to make my own personal list of 100 Quilting Related things I would like to do before I die. I made a separate page for my list here on the blog, you can find it in the top menu up there , right now there are only about 50 things on it, but I will add to it as I come up with more things.

So in honor of my Anniversary, I have decided to host my very first give away !

Now here is the twist, since we all know that the best gifts are surprise ones, I am not going to tell you what it is !

I WILL give you some hints.

  • I have been quilting for just a few months longer then you. I am amazed!!! You have gotten a lot done in a year. My enthusiasm has been spurted by project Quilt on the Persimon Dreams website. Because of this I have been pushed to finish projects. But I do not think I could have done as many as you!!! Congrats!!!
